Tron (1982)
Tron was a science fiction film starring Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn and Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley (and Tron). The villain was Sark and "Master Control Program (MCP)" - sort of Darth Vader & Emperor. This was the very first CGI film, I think.
