Harvey Dent/Two-Face by Hot Toys

The last piece of the puzzle, the final 1/6 scale fully poseable action figure to complete Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece "Batman: The Dark Knight" collection. I give you Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

Aaron Eckhart stars as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in "The Dark Knight", sequel to "Batman Begins". The noble high-flying Gotham District Attorney was hailed as Gotham's "White Knight" before the Joker transforms him into a murderous, disfigured vigilante called "Two-Face".
Joker to Batman: "I took Gotham's white knight and I brought him down our level. It wasn't hard. You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!"
Hot Toys certainly know how to push our buttons and make us empty our wallets. The entire Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece "The Dark Knight" 1/6 collection is just one GREAT BUY after another - buy Hot Toys Batman Original costume, buy Batman The Dark Knight costume, buy The Joker, buy Bank Robber Joker, buy Batpod, buy Harvey Dent/Two-Face and BYE BYE hard-earned cash.

Hot Toys has improved on their slipcase design, especially for Harvey Dent/Two-Face - one side shows Harvey Dent, Gotham's District Attorney...

... and the other side shows Two-Face - well done (pun intended since his left side was burnt to a crisp)!

Famous line of Harvey Dent's: "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain"
Extras include one well sculpted Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) face, extra pair of hands, Smith & Wesson Model 64 Revolver (this was handed to Two-Face by Nurse Joker when he visited Harvey at the hospital), Harvey Dent's campaign button "I believe in Harvey Dent" and Harvey's coin with two heads (one side scarred and the other side intact)

Would have loved to have one mint coin and one scarred coin but they both look scarred to me :( The 1/6 scale Smith & Wesson Model 64's hammer can be cocked backwards and the six-chamber cylinder can swing out to the left for loading of bullets (but of course, there are no bullets nor can they fit into the tiny holes - BBI did release a revolver that could load individual bullets into the chambers of the cylinder but that's for another post)

The undamaged two-button jacket to wear with Harvey's unscarred face

Hot Toys 1/6 scale Movie Masterpiece "Two-Face" from "The Dark Knight", dressed to kill. Out of the hospital, Harvey Dent/Two-Face goes on a personal vendetta confronting Maroni and the corrupt cops one by one, deciding their fates with the flip of a coin.

Harvey Dent: Do you remember that name you and the others had for me when I was at Internal Affairs?
Lt. James Gordon: Yeah, I remember.
Harvey Dent: Say it.
Lt. James Gordon: Harvey...
Harvey Dent: SAY IT!
Lt. James Gordon: "Two-Face." Harvey Two-Face.
[Harvey turns his head, revealing the scarred side of his face]
Harvey Dent: Why should I hide who I am?

The scarred side of Harvey Dent, now Two-Face

A one-of-a-kind hand sculpt for Harvey Dent/Two-Face so that he can hold his coin for flipping.

The back shows how Hot Toys mixed materials to achieve the half-burnt look of his jacket, the "burnt" material and lesson learnt from when they produced Davy Jones.

Close-up of the stainless Smith & Wesson Model 64 revolver with a 3" heavy barrel (a .38 special), not to be confused with the Smith & Wesson Model 36 which Harvey Dent used to interrogate one of The Joker's thugs after the attempt on the Mayor's life.

Overall, a FINE addition to a DeCent line!

I think the suit is a bit wilder than the shoulder and feel like both legs are not proportional to its body (a bit shorter). Anyway, just got mine yesterday..

the buzz in the forums is that because the shoe is more flat and the leg pegs go directly into the shoe, offering no lift hence the figure appears shorter. GREAT that you got yours too, desmond - join the club :)

Your Harvey Dent Blog here is amazing. It really captures how cool the actual movie was.

Stephen Dent and Harvey Dent have the same last name, ha, that's interesting. Ok, take care.

WOW! Stephen, you have the same name as two-face - that must have been very interesting for you growing up. Your site's cool too :)
