"Vhat do vou dink vou are doink?"
The Nazi and SS certainly made for great villains because everyone knows they are the bad guys instantly. So in the movies, you tend to see them a lot, from Indiana Jones to Hellboy to The Spirit, just to name a few.
The Schutzstaffel (German for "Protective Echelon"), abbreviated SS was a major Nazi organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. In contrast to the black-uniformed Allgemeine SS (the political wing of the SS), the Waffen-SS (the military wing) evolved into a second German army aside the Wehrmacht (the regular armed forces) and operated in tandem with them; especially with the Heer (German Army). The SS also wore a black cap with a Totenkopf (skull and bones, "death's head") symbol on it. [source: wiki]
