This is the second "Dirty Harry" action figure by Brother Production. Perhaps it's because the first one did well enough to justify a second run. You can view pictures of the FIRST version Brother Production 1:6 Hard-boiled "Harry" figure HERE and HERE. The FIRST version seems to have a lot more stuff including a nice diorama base.
Callahan's signature weapon is a Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum revolver, which he uses in all of the films. The gun's prominence in the films instantly popularized it. The character states the use of a "Light Special", .44 Special loads, that he loads himself because it gives him "better accuracy and control in a gun this size".
Brother Production got carried away and included scope rails, barrel ridge and PVC grips when it is supposed to be a 1970's SW 44 Magnum which was pretty basic, as seen in the FIRST version.
This was the 1970s and smoking was considered COOL and it helped Clint Eastwood define his character and show how bada$$ he was. Smoking has since been discouraged, even on screen and it sure didn't help Michael Douglas at all since he revealed that his throat cancer was mainly due to his smoking.
