Kitbash 1/6 "The Dark Knight" Lt. James "Jim" Gordon wearing plain clothes (not S.W.A.T.)

I've reviewed the Hot Toys Toy Fairs Exclusive "The Dark Knight" 1/6th scale Gary Oldman as Lt. Jim Gordon (S.W.A.T. suit version) Limited Edition 12-inch Collectible Figure in the previous posts HERE (box packaging and contents) and HERE (fully kitted out Jim Gordon in S.W.A.T. attire) but it isn't complete until I've kitbashed a Gotham City Police Department lieutenant James "Jim" Gordon 12-inch figure in civilian attire i.e. his normal working clothes. So here he is :) I present to you 1/6 scale Jim Gordon in suit and tie, and wearing his normal glasses which was included in the Hot Toys Exclusive set but looks best with this attire.

Except for the Hot Toys 1/6th scale Gary Oldman as Lt. Jim Gordon head sculpt which is exceptional and one of the reasons why I had to have this figure plus the glasses he wears, everything else you see is put together i.e. kitbashed from other available sources and manufacturers. The base 12-inch body is actually a Hot Toys TTM18 1/6th scale TrueType Body - Caucasian Male (Narrow Shoulder Version) - see pictures HERE and HERE. I cannot remember where the suit is from but it does look good on Gordon. Scroll down to see more pictures of kitbashed Lt. Jim Gordon.

Turnaround views of kitbashed Lt. James "Jim" Gordon showing off his new suit, more comfortable and less cumbersome than the S.W.A.T. suit he was wearing earlier (pictures HERE)

Close-up shots / pictures of Hot Toys 1/6th scale Gary Oldman as Lt. Jim Gordon head sculpt with his glasses on. In the earlier post HERE, he was shown without his glasses and then wearing the shooting glasses but this is the first time on my toy blog that he's seen wearing his regular glasses.

Scroll down to see more pictures of the very well sculpted 1:6 head that has all the likeness and resemblance to actor Gary Oldman who plays Gotham City Police Department lieutenant James "Jim" Gordon (later Police Commissioner Gordon) in the Christopher Nolan Batman films.

Hot Toys had deviated from their recent head sculpts where the head was separated from the neck and sculpted Lt. Jim Gordon with the neck attached like their previous head sculpts in the past. Rightly so since the head and neck plays an important part in showing off the realism of the figure. The normal smooth neck would not look realistic when placed next to an aged Gordon head so the skin wrinkles have to be shown on the neck as well as the face. Kudos to Hot Toys for taking that into account.

And here's kitbashed "The Dark Knight" 1/6 scale Lt. James "Jim" Gordon standing beside a Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) S.W.A.T. team member.

MORE of the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) S.W.A.T. team member in the NEXT post.

Whether S.W.A.T. or civilian, Jim is looking good. I was on a wait list which just converted, so I should be receiving him soon. Very excited. I'll have to find a civilian suit for him, too. I appreciate your fine postings. Keep up the good work!

Looks great. Perhaps add another coat.

Let me know if you can recall where you purchase the suit. Is nice. Am getting one for Bruce Wayne head sculpt.

Thanks ophul :) glad you are getting yours too

Thanks Dennis, I'll be on the lookout for one :)

As for the suit, my bad because sometimes I pick up stuff from the local 1/6 loose parts store without checking the manufacturer. The bag it came in had no identifying marks or company logo.

Hi there,

I wanted to ask, are those plastic zip ties that go on the vest easily removable or are they permanent once they are placed on there and must be cut (like in real life) to remove them?

Thanks!
