“I have you now…”
Tall and menacing, Darth Vader is the most potent icon of the Galactic Empire's might. The product of the Emperor himself, Vader answers to only the highest in the Imperial command structure and is granted great leeway in the work he conducts on his master's behalf. Once a Jedi, Vader possesses absolute command over the Force, and through him it is directed to terrible and often fatal effect. As a Lord of the Sith, the dark side flows through him, and it can be channeled to kill with a single thought or to subdue his detractors, enemies, and sometimes even subordinates. Feared by Rebels and Imperials alike, Darth Vader is a terrifying union of man and machine hidden beneath black robes and forbidding armor. Determined to hunt down and extinguish the Rebel Alliance, Vader commands the massive Imperial fleet and rules his forces through unquestionable terror.

I ordered soon after i heard. I've been waiting for this figure for so long. I saw it coming as HT & SS have shown signs. First was the exclusive item from DX-07. Next was Darth Malgus. I never cared about the version of Darth Vader (both from Medicom or SS). But this is one figure i can't missed. Sideshow is learning well from Hot Toys. Each new figure they are about release is a clear must buy for me. I now have 4 PO's with Sideshow Cmdr Wolffe, Yoda - Jedi Master, Darth Malgus & now Darth Vader. Yeah, i love it!
I have to get this Vader figure - my Stormtroopers look weird without him, especially as I have some 501st!
the question to be made is: is this figure 12"tall or 14"tall?? i realy would like to know...
THANKS,
Miguel Morais from Lisbon
We are all wondering the same thing. Sideshow doesn't seem to reveal the height details to us even though it's everyone's prime concern since their first Darth vader was released.
I remember that the first sideshow Darth Vader(the 14"tall one) doesn't have is true height in the presentation site(instead it informed us that was 12"tall), inducing us in deception...
let's see what is going to happen now...
Cheers,
M.
Looks great! Does the lightsaber really light up?
I'm afraid not. The specs don't say so.
