Real Steel is a 2011 American science fiction sports drama film starring Hugh Jackman and Dakota Goyo, co-produced and directed by Shawn Levy and released by DreamWorks Pictures based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, though screenwriter John Gatins placed the film in U.S. state fairs and other "old-fashioned" Americana settings. Animatronic robots were built for the film, and motion capture technology was used to depict the brawling of computer-generated robots and animatronics. (source: wiki)
After seeing his boxing robot Ambush get destroyed by a bull, former boxer Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) buys a secondhand World Robot Boxing league (WRB) robot, the once-famous Noisy Boy and arranges for it to fight the illegal circuit's champion, Midas.

I think Noisy Boy gets its inspiration from Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人28号 Tetsujin Nijūhachi-gō, literally "Iron Man #28"), a 1956 manga written and illustrated by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, who also created Giant Robo. The series centred on the adventures of a young boy named Shotaro Kaneda, who controlled a giant robot named Tetsujin 28, built by his late father.
If there's one thing ThreeA (3A) is very good at, it's making robots and they have perfected it to a T!
So this is something rather wonderful and I'm just glad I'm not into the robot stuff or else I'll find myself selling my kidneys to pay for this bad boy / Noisy Boy haha
Can you imagine what would result if ThreeA were given the license to make the Pacific Rim robots? Mind blown!
