Hot Toys 1/6th scale Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman 12-inch collectible figures

continued from previous toy blog post...

The "Trinity" is a nickname collectively given to the top three most popular characters in the DC Universe, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. This name has also been used for several series' and storylines that focus on these three characters teaming up.

In the 2016 superhero film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", we see the first ever live-action interaction between Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) together. It is also the first live-action cinematic portrayal of Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

I got both the Hot Toys MMS343 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 1:6 scale SUPERMAN and Hot Toys MMS342 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 1:6 scale BATMAN Collectible Figures back in November 2016 (see my toy blog post HERE) but it has taken this long for Hot Toys MMS359 Wonder Woman figure to be released. Now I can finally pose the three of them together for pictures. One of the funny moments from the film was when Wonder Woman appears after Doomsday confronts Superman and Batman. Superman says to Batman: "Is she with you?" and
Batman replies: "I thought she was with you."

Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures.
Click on them for bigger and better views.

Hot Toys MMS342 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 1:6 scale BATMAN 12-inch Collectible Figure - Ben Affleck as Batman. Amazing that even though much of the face is covered by the cowl, one can still tell it's Ben Affleck under the mask. The jaw and lower face is still distinctly Ben Affleck.

Hot Toys MMS343 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 1:6 scale SUPERMAN 12-inch collectible figure. Superman (Henry Cavill) doesn't need a mask but dons spectacles to conceal his identity when he is Clark Kent. How does that work? Funny thing is, Henry Cavill didn't even need glasses while posing with giant billboards of himself as Superman in Time Square in the lead-up to the release of Batman V Superman. Nobody seemed to notice him.
