The box design gives you a glimpse of the type of quality to expect. Review of this spectacular figure here and here!
Kerberos Protect Gear Panzer Cop Chuichi Koshiramaru by Takara - check out the details
The ammo belt feed is linked from the drum to the machine gun and the radio is separated from the drum - that makes more sense. All items can be detached as well.
There is also a spare barrel that you can attach to the drum and it stays secured till it's needed
Another view of the ammo drum and backpack radio. You can even make out a spare canister just below the backpack
The five dots logo on the helmet, Yutaka Izubuchi's (who created the Protect-Gear armour used in the Kerberos saga) mecha design signature.
Eat this, Medicom!! Their 2007 release, Red Spectacles Kerberos Panzer Cop was a real letdown and another crap production - another one piece moulded plastic without details. The gas mask tubes and other parts of the "armour" did not have sufficient details as they weren't etched enough - very shoddy work indeed!

thanks for the kerberos series of pix and reviews, Alex, really got me poisoned.
hey shaun, you are most welcome (evil laughter follows - mwahahaha!). Saw you were craving for one on your blog. If you ever get one, IMHO Takara's Chuichi is the BEST - please please please don't get the Medicom one coz I think it suz, especially for the price we're forking out. Good Luck man :)
Amazing collection, very impressed.
This may not be the greatest spot to ask but I thought it wouldnt hurt.
I was curious if you knew of a website you can direct me to that sells display cases of various size. For figures of course.
I've also seen shops display figures in oversized zip-loc bags. Not sure if those are special bags or not or just store bought. If you know about those too that would be great.
Thanks for your help~ Keep collectin'!
hi abhor, thanks for the compliments :) Most of my stuff are displayed in customised cabinets or in display cabinets bought from Ikea. zip-lock bags can usually be bought from the people who sell packing stuff. I bought these recently when I had to move. Keep lookin' ;p
Wow...i'm pretty much hooked on this, Thanks Alex ^^
p.s.
is there any store in Singapore still got this?
hey jeff, China Square Central is a good place to look as most of the 1/6 shops are all in that one place. I remembered seeing one at Kallang Leisure Park (near Indoor Stadium) recently. Do check the price although with its limited supply, that may become an issue. CHEERS
Thanks Alex ^^ finger-crossed i'll be able to go to Singapore come this June and check those out, cheers
