Agent Nigo by Medicom and Bathing Ape, 1998

Interesting item from Medicom in collaboration with Bathing Ape (Bape) Japan - Agent Nigo is from the "Agency Preventive Evil" (a very lame attempt at coining the acronym "A.P.E.). He's dressed in Bathing Ape clothes (PCK would say, "ah but then"), an ape mask and some accessories. Released in 1998 by Medicom and limited to 1000 pcs, it also comes with a Bathing Ape numbered collectors' card.

Was drawn to this character because of the classic "Planet of the Apes (1968)" movie where the tables were turned on humans - best final, iconic scene when Charlton Heston (Astronaut Taylor, having crash-landed in a lake on an unknown planet in the year 3978 following a 2006-year voyage at almost the speed of light) discovers a damaged Statue of Liberty half-buried on the beach. He realizes that he has been on Earth all along and that humanity must have destroyed its own civilization with war, thereby paving the way for the Planet of the Apes.

Pardon the "Hellboy" base & stand but these figures by Medicom had very weak kness and skinny legs and cannot even support its own weight. That has since been rectified.

"Bape" appears on his left sleeve of his jacket

Ape mask since it's an integral part of the Bape logo
