Dr Donald Blake becomes Thor, the Thunder God from Norse mythology when he touches his hammer Mjolnir. I think Toy Biz did okay with this "Famous Cover" 9" Thor - quite well captured and true to his comic book appearance.
Thor's got a nice "flying" helmet though, which is stuck to his head while Namor the Sub-Mariner's wings are stuck to his feet - wonder who gets better mileage?
When I googled "Toy Biz", an interesting bit of news appeared - for purposes of tariffs, Toy Biz's figures are classified as "nonhuman creatures" and not "dolls" because duties on dolls, which are defined to include human figures, were higher than on toys, which include "nonhuman creatures", in the United States. Man, real dolls are already hard to maintain and the fake ones are no different - they cost more to import than superheroes - that's why I stick to superheroes - LOL!!
