Action City Hot Toys Iron Man Figurines Exhibition - Iron Man 3 Mark XLII and Iron Patriot

continued from previous post where we saw the debut of Hot Toys Armored Whiplash Mark II ...

Seen at the Action City Hot Toys Iron Man Figurines Exhibition now on at Bugis until May 5 - Hot Toys Iron Man 3 1/6 scale Mark XLII armor suit as seen in the latest Iron Man 3 movie with the latest 1/6 scale Tony Stark head sculpt. This is the Hot Toys MMS Diecast Series Iron Man 3 1/6th scale Mark XLII Limited Edition Collectible Figure which was previewed earlier HERE but nothing beats seeing it up close and now you can if you live in Singapore :)

The movie-accurate Mark XLII Collectible Figurine is highly detailed and features the specially crafted image of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark wearing the Mark XLII as seen in the movie, showcasing the highly detailed head sculpt, metallic red, golden and silver well equipped armor with light-up functions. On display is the battle-damaged option as this particular MMS Die-cast Mark XLII (Mark 42) comes with interchangeable armor parts. Scroll down to see more pictures including the Hot Toys PPS001 Iron Man 3: 1/6th scale Power Pose Mark XLII Collectible Figurine, 1/4 scale Iron Man Mark XLII and Iron Patriot busts plus Hot Toys Iron Man 3 1/6th scale Iron Patriot 12" Collectible Figure.

Also on display at the Action City Hot Toys 1/6th scale Iron Man Collectible Armors Assemble exhibition being held at Bugis Junction from April 29 till May 5, 2013 - the incoming Hot Toys PPS001 Iron Man 3: 1/6th scale Power Pose Mark XLII Collectible Figure

The PPS001 Iron Man 3: 1/6th scale Power Pose Mark XLII certainly looks impressive!

Oops! Pardon the blu tac at his crotch. Nothing I can do about that. I just take pictures of what I see and post here in my toy blog to share with everyone. Perhaps some kinks need to be ironed out haha

And then there's the huge 1:1 scale Iron Man 3 Mark XLII which strikes almost the same pose as the PPS001 1/6th scale Power Pose Iron Man 3 Mark XLII but being an actual size model, it makes for some great photo-taking opportunities and certainly draws in the crowds.

It's quite well done too. Disney / Marvel didn't even have this statue at the movie screenings. Hot Toys and Action City are the only ones displaying this. Kudos to them

Here you see the Hot Toys 1:4 scale Iron Man 3 Mark XLII bust up close

There's also the Hot Toys 1:4 scale Iron Man 3 Iron Patriot bust on display as well

Finally, check out the Hot Toys Iron Man 3 1/6th scale Iron Patriot 12" Collectible Figure on display at the Action City Iron Man 3 Hot Toys Collectible Figurines Exhibition (also known as Hot Toys 1/6th scale Iron Man Collectible Armors Assemble exhibition) @ Bugis Junction happening from now April 29 till May 5, 2013

This is the Hot Toys MMS Diecast Series movie-accurate Iron Patriot Collectible Figure that is specially crafted based on the image of Don Cheadle as Iron Patriot in the movie, highlighting the highly detailed head sculpt, metallic red, white and blue star spangled armor, light-up functions and rotatable machine gun.

No 1:6 scale Don Cheadle head sculpt seen on display but this figure is very impressive nonetheless. I am excited about this figure

NEXT: Hot Toys Iron Man 3 1/6 scale Tony Stark (Armor Testing Version) Collectible Figure with his Hall of Armor suits on display! What a sight to behold.

There's also the Play Imaginative Super Alloy 1/4 scale Iron Man: Preview Showcase (check out my earlier post HERE) happening at the same place so you can check out both exhibits at the same time if you head down now

I originally ordered the mark xlii, but cancelled it. Just wasnt sure if thr power pose were worth getting. Those pics may have just changed my mind.

A picture speaks a thousand words :) I'm sure you can't get the MMS Die-cast series Mark XLII to do what the Power Pose figure can but each type has its merits and some people still prefer articulation over fixed poses.

I gotta say hot toys comes a long way. I hope the diecast do justify the cost.

You can pre-order them at TFH (http://www.tfh.com.sg/search_result.php?tabs=manu&p_manu_id=12&optP_manu_id=12&btnSearch=) i.e. the figures are ordered in advance (PRE-order) and the company only makes what has been pre-ordered so that the market doesn't get flooded with too many figures and bring down the value of the product. That said, when the figure is finally released and if there is a sudden surge in demand, the price of the figure will keep going up and up because limited numbers have been produced.
