This is KGB Hobby KGB-002 1/6 scale Russian MVD Special Force outfit set for 12-inch figures

This year 2014 will be remembered as the year of the Russians for 12-inch military figure collectors because of the sudden influx of 1/6 scale Russian figures being released. After a long drought of zero Russian figures, 1/6 scale toy manufacturers have decided to flood the market with a whole slew of Russian soldiers of every type and kind imaginable and those starved of Russian figures suddenly find themselves inundated with so many choices and options to choose from. It's like you order the very first Russian figure you see because after so long, it's a 'must have' item. Then as the weeks pass, more and more Russian figures keep popping up and you are now in a conundrum as to which figure to get.

Well, here are two more Russians (in this post and the NEXT) to be added to the list of choices. This is the KGB Hobby KGB-002 1/6 scale Russian MVD Special Force outfit set for 12-inch figures and it will be a limited production run of 500 units.

KGB Hobby KGB-002 1/6 scale Russian MVD Special Force outfit set for 12-inch figures is expected to arrive in stores in November 2014

Like I said earlier, 1/6 scale Russian troops have been appearing on the 12-inch figure market of late. There was the most recent previewed DAM TOYS Item #78020 1/6 scale SPETSNAZ in DAGESTAN 12-inch military figure posted HERE, not forgetting the DAM toys 1/6 scale Spetsnaz FSB Alpha Group 12-inch Special Operations figure (previewed HERE) and the Dam Toys 1/6 scale Spetsnaz FSB Vympel 12-inch Special Forces Figure (previewed HERE) as well as the DAM Toys 1/6 scale Russian Airborne Troops or "VDV in Crimea" 12-inch military figure (shown HERE). There was also the Very Cool Toys 1/6 scale Soviet Red Army Female Soldier 12-inch figure (pictures HERE) and most recently KGB Hobby 1/6 scale Russian Special Forces Outfit Sets KGB-001A & KGB-001B (posted HERE) and the Toys City 1/6 scale WWII Red Army Scout outfit / uniform Set (TC#68003) for 12-inch figures (link HERE). Phew! That's quite a lot of Russian figures.
