Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) - Bounty Hunters

Darth Vader addresses the bounty hunters: Dengar (more pictures here), IG-88 (more pictures), Boba Fett (more pictures here), Bossk (more pictures), 4-LOM (see more here) and Zuckuss (additional pictures here) onboard the Executor.

All figures from Hasbro except Boba Fett from Marmit (2000). Can't put Medicom Boba Fett with these figures coz Medicom figures are on a scale that is from a galaxy far far away - they may be highly detailed and movie accurate (for the price that we have to fork out, they should be) BUT they just cannot stand next to 1/6 figures from Hasbro, Marmit or Sideshow which are all compatible in size. Even Medicom's Darth Vader is puny when standing next to the other Medicom figures - not even proportionate in size to the other figures manufactured by the same company!!

And how LONG do we have to wait before Sideshow moves away from jedi & sith to do other notable Star Wars figures?

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)

This film was Arnold Schwarzenegger's final starring role before becoming Governor of California.

After the failure of Skynet to kill Sarah Connor before her son is born (James Cameron's 1984  "Terminator"), and to kill John himself as a child (1991's "Terminator 2: Judgement Day"), it sends back another Terminator, the T-X (Kristanna Loken), in a last attempt before Judgment Day to wipe out as many resistance officers as possible, including John and his future wife.

As before, a reprogrammed Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), identical to the Terminators from the previous films, has been sent back in time to protect Connor and his future wife, Katherine Brewster.

This Terminator was produced by Popsalute in 2004.

After rescuing Connor and his future wife from an initial attack, the Terminator leads them to Sarah Connor's coffin, in which her friends had filled with weapons in the event that Judgment Day was not prevented.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - "Hasta La Vista, Baby!"

T2 picks up ten years after the events of the first film. It follows Sarah Connor, her 10-year-old son John Connor, and a protector from the future (as in the first film but this time the protector is a Terminator), as they try to prevent Judgment Day, a day in the future when machines from Skynet will start to exterminate the human race.

Linda Hamilton reprised her role as Sarah Connor - she really beefed up for this movie.

T-800 figure produced to coincide with "T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (1996)" - an attraction at Universal Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan. Only 12" Terminator figure available back then. Toys have come a long way since :)

The Terminator (1984): "I'll be back!"

"The Terminator" was a 1984 sci-fi/action film directed and co-written by James Cameron who would also direct "Aliens (1986)" and "The Abyss (1989)" - all three films starred Michael Biehn as a military guy/soldier - before returning to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)".

Michael Biehn played Kyle Reese, a Tech-Com sergeant sent from the future to rescue Sarah Connor played by Linda Hamilton from Skynet's Terminator T-800 played by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger who would go on to utter his now very famous line: "I'll be back!" - Great movie!

Kyle Reese in his Tech-Com gear by Hot Toys

Battle Damaged Terminator by Hot Toys (looks nothing like Arnold Schwarzenegger but still cool nonetheless) - he carries the 7.62 mm M134 Minigun OR gatling gun only featured in T2 but hey, the more weapons, the better!!

Die-cast T-800 Terminator Endoskeleton by Sunrise (this thing is HEAVY!!)
