MP 101st, Najaf Iraq 2003

With a name like "Jennifer" on the box, it certainly held some promise. Unfortunately, the head sculpt on this figure by Dragon was very disappointing, so unlike their earliest female head sculpt.

So I snagged myself a figure of Kristanna Loken, she of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" fame. She's pretty and she's also one tough cookie, just the right candidate for the dangerous job in Iraq.

Here she is in vest and slacks.

Okay, getting dressed for the job at hand.

Her vest, pouches and MP armband.

Halt! Who goes there? Terminator or human?

Close-up of the determination shown on her face.

She's from the famous 101st Airborne Division which has a rich history dating back to World War II.

Dragon's helmets came with the luminous tag that glows-in-the-dark; no big deal but a nice touch nonetheless.

This outfit was released by Dragon in 2003 when the war in Iraq started and the fine men and women of the US military are still over there today, doing their bit in the war on terrorism. Kudos to them.

You can view the original Dragon head sculpt of "Jennifer" here.
