Toys City 1:6 CIA Operative REVIEW I

This is Toys City 1:6 scale 12-inch CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) Operative, supposedly operating out of Afghanistan in late 2001. This guy is pretty "old school" and this was during the very early days of their Afghanistan operations.

Toys City CIA operative head sculpt makes me think of American actor Kurt Russell in his recent film, "Death Proof" which was part of "Grindhouse (2007)", a double feature consisting of two feature-length segments co-written, produced and directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The hair, the scar, the scruffy beard are all a part of the persona of Kurt Russell as “Stuntman” Mike, a psychopathic stunt man who stalks young women before murdering them in staged car accidents using his “death-proof” stunt car.

Quite standard box packaging by Toys City. The slip case that came with this had the same images as the front and back of the box.

Toys City CIA operative "Mike" is dressed in black long sleeve wool shirt, Woodlands camouflage M65 field jacket, Tan heavy duty field pants (Mountain Field Pants) and cowboy boots

Toys City CIA operative's 1:6 accessories i.e. some of the things he need to fight the good fight or dirty war, depends on which angle you're looking from - Russian backback (or Soviet Army Backpack), ballistic vest/Body Armor, AK Chest Rig, brown Pakol (Afghan hat).

Toys City 1:6 CIA Operative's 1:6 weapons: AKM with flash supressor and 75-rd drum magazine (and also three standard 30-rd box magazines), and 9mm Beretta M9 pistol

Other stuff that comes with this set: map, binoculars, push dagger knife, walkie-talkie radio and personal GPS tracker

The 1:6 scale personal GPS tracker is really tiny so be careful not to sneeze near it

Last but not least, the Toys City 1:6 CIA Operative comes with his "Cauon" camera with standard and zoom lens, for taking pictures and sending them back to CIA's headquarters in Langley for analysis. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is a civilian intelligence agency of the United States government. It is an independent agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior United States policymakers.

The 1:6 scale Cauon EOS-1 camera, quite similar to the real thing, the Canon EOS-1

This 1:6 camera is a beauty too, with all the nice details, just like the real camera...

... including 1:6 standard and zoom lens. Heck, this figure has a better camera than me :( mine is just a simple point and shoot camera without all the complicated controls

So here are all the stuff Toys City 1:6 CIA Operative need for his mission of intelligence gathering

Other spooks in Afghanistan
