Medicom RAH Mad Capsule Markets: Black Cyborn

Continued from my earlier post...

This is the 2004 Medicom released RAH (Real Action Heroes) Mad Capsule Markets: 1/6 scale 12-inch Black Cyborn collectible figure. For more information about Mad Capsule Markets and how this robotic figure / cyborg is related to the group, check out my earlier post. For more pictures of this very nice, very cool Black Cyborn collectible figure (IMHO anyway), just keep scrolling down :) and as always, ENJOY!

I only came to know about Black Cyborn's existence after picking up the 2004 Medicom released RAH (Real Action Heroes) Mad Capsule Markets: 1/6 scale 12-inch White Crusher collectible figure.

The Black Cyborn is like the Yin to White Crusher's Yang. Yin Yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole. In some circles, people believe everything has both yin and yang aspects, although yin or yang elements may manifest more strongly in different objects or at different times.

There is a perception (especially in the West) that yin and yang correspond to good and evil. Many natural dualities — e.g. dark and light, female and male, low and high, cold and hot — are thought of as manifestations of yin and yang (respectively).

The light, white Yang moving up blends into the dark, black Yin moving down. Yin and Yang are dependent opposing forces that flow in a natural cycle, always seeking balance. Though they are opposing, they are not in opposition to one another.

This Medicom RAH (Real Action Heroes) Mad Capsule Markets: 1/6 scale 12-inch Black Cyborn collectible figure is just as cool as White Crusher and they both make good companions.

Medicom RAH Black Cyborn comes with a weapon whereas White Crusher does not and while White Crusher has a really cool helmet, Black Cyborn has a very unique skull mask that has now become all the rage in the Special Forces community. Check out the CIA SAD 1/6 scale figures that were released recently, not to mention the MGS3 Zombie Snake figure as well.

It seems to be human nature to assume that black is bad (evil) while white is good. Looking at the design of Black Cyborn (especially the face paint), one would automatically assume that he is the bad guy (and a pretty bada$$ one at that) to White Crusher's good guy personna.

Black Cyborn even has a HUGE hip holster for his weapon

Black Cyborn's 1/6 weapon lacks details but I suppose it's meant to be a futuristic stylized rifle

Close-up pictures of the Medicom RAH Mad Capsule Markets: Black Cyborn head sculpt. He seems to have a miniature camera mounted on the side of his head and a most unique apparatus connected to his chest which goes to the back.

And here they are standing side-by-side,  Medicom RAH 1/6 scale 12-inch Mad Capsule Markets: Black Cyborn and White Crusher.

I'd posted pictures of these two in an earlier post (September 6, 2007) and feel that now's a good time as any to revisit these figures.
