Preview Coo Model Iron Island Battle Royale 1/6 scale Sergeant Devil Johnny 12-inch armor figure

Every 1/6 scale company seems to be trying for something new, something that they hope will click with collectors, something that stands out from the flood of 12-inch figures flowing into the market, begging for the collector's money pocket. Everyone seems to have enough of WWII figures, especially Germans (or am I wrong?) and since most companies don't want to run foul of the law in terms of copyright infringements, it's best to stay away from movie-related figures if one doesn't have the licensing rights, nor expect collectors to pay high prices for their products.

So what do you do if you are a 1/6 scale manufacturer jumping on the band wagon of 12-inch figures demanded by hungry and eager 1/6 scale collectors who are willing to fork out good money for stuff to add to their collection and feed their addiction? You think out of the box.

This is Coo Model's Iron Island Battle Royale NO:SK07 1/6 scale SERGEANT “DEVIL JOHNNY” 12-inch figure. Coo Model have already previewed and released two 1/6 scale "Iron Island" Jack-5 12-inch figures (check out the pictures HERE and HERE) and while I wasn't too keen on those robot figures, this latest figure by Coo Model seems to have caught my attention.

Coo Model Iron Island Battle Royale 1/6 scale Sergeant Devil Johnny 12-inch armor figure will come with 1/6 scale Head sculpt, 12-inch figure Body, Long-sleeved T-shirt, Trousers, Leather jacket, Boots, hands x 4, Belt, Pouches x 4, Cannon, Bullet chain, Pistol, Laser Sword , Machine Helmet, Machine Breastplate, Machine Backpack, Machine Shoulder  Armor x 2, Machine Leggings, Machine shoes, Machine Gauntlets, Machine hands, Machine tailgate

This does remind me of the Zero Metal Defence Capsule (ZMDC) armor figures from way back. You can see the pictures HERE. Very similar concept even though they are at least a decade (10 years) apart!

Rather Impressive and if the price is reasonable, I may just get one. Hopefully there's light up function. It reminds me of Iron Man Mark I from the movie.
