Review Belet 1/6 scale Speed Rider Outfit and Head Sculpt Set (Fast & Furious Dom Toretto?)

From my December 2014 haul last year - see post HERE :)

Dominic Toretto is a fictional character and the lead protagonist of The Fast and the Furious series. He is portrayed by Vin Diesel and was created by screenwriter Gary Scott Thompson. Dom is introduced in the first film of the series The Fast and the Furious (2001). The role put Diesel on Hollywood's A-list, and won him the 2002 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team with Paul Walker. Diesel's portrayal of the character has been given much of the credit for the longevity of The Fast and the Furious film series, and the actor has become strongly identified with the character.

This is the recently released Belet 1/6 scale Speed Rider Outfit and Head Sculpt Set which seems to be very much inspired by Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto character in the Fast & Furious films. The set does not come with a 12-inch figure body. To complete the look, I chose to use the Hot Toys TTM19 TrueType Muscular Body Figure - see my full review of the HT TTM19 12-inch figure HERE.

Belet 1/6th scale Speed Rider Outfit and Head Sculpt Set features: 1/6 scale Head Sculpt bearing a very close resemblance to Vin Diesel, Sleeveless T shirt, Pants, Belt, Cross necklace, Shoes. 12-inch figure body is not included.

Here's 12-inch Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) with 1:6 scale "twin" of Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Roadblock (The Rock) by Hot Toys. Check out my review of Hot Toys "G.I. Joe Retaliation" 1/6th scale Roadblock Collectible Figure HERE, HERE and HERE

Nice Vin Diesel, Alex!

Seeing this makes me wish someone would make a decent Riddick figure already!

Maybe Artfigures?

I think Artfigures would be able to make a GREAT Riddick figure, especially after seeing what they did with Judge Dredd :)

It would be a lot cheaper than Hot Toys as well!! Although they would rename the figure "Shaved Space Criminal" or something.

Btw, that Hot Toys Roadblock standing next to Vin Diesel is simply amazing... shows how high the bar has been raised with Hot Toys.

Love the stuff you show here but how does one acrually go about purchasing any of these items ? I see a lot of pre order stuff .

@Jedi64, you are right. These days a lot of products are first given a preview and that is usually followed up with taking pre-orders before the company actually go about producing the products. This way, they don't over-produce stuff which usually leads to over supply followed by drastic drops in price in a bid to sell all the stocks on hand. Pre-ordering ensures sufficient stock for everyone who pre-ordered but that means patience in waiting for the goods to be produced and released.
