HT T2 T-800 & T3 T-850

Here's another 1/6 scale 12-inch Terminator cyborg figure, Popsalute's Skynet "Cyberdyne Systems T-850 Series Model 101" standing with the latest Hot Toys MMS117 "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" ("T2" for short) 1/6th scale T-800 cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger) collectible figure. See my previous posts for detailed reviews of the HT T2 T-800 HERE and HERE

In "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)", commonly abbreviated as T3, Skynet sends back another Terminator, the T-X, to July 24, 2004 to kill his future lieutenants in the human Resistance. The Resistance sends a reprogrammed T-850 model 101 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) back in time to protect the T-X's targets, including Kate Brewster (Claire Danes), John Connor's future wife.

This 2004 released Popsalute T-850 Terminator figure came with two headsculpts, this being the battle damaged version, including half a pair of shades and showing the robot head that is supposed to be underneath the flesh covering. To see the undamaged head of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, head to my post HERE.

Here's the "good (i.e. undamaged)" side profile of the T3 T-850 in comparison with the Hot Toys T2 T-800.

The Popsalute T3 T-850 figure came with a 1/6 scale Remington 870 shotgun with a high-capacity magazine tube, custom fore-grip and heat shield. There's also the Heckler & Koch G36K with stock removed and a Browning M1919 machine gun fitted with drum magazine and special side-mounted trigger plus shoulder strap (see my post HERE for pictures)

And here's the other half of the T-850 head, the damaged side exposing the robot head

In the third film, the Terminator - an 850 series rather than the 800 series depicted in the first two films - operates on two hydrogen fuel cells and discards one of them early due to damage. It explodes shortly thereafter with enough force to produce a small mushroom cloud.

And here are all four T-800s standing together for a group shot. From left to right, Hot Toys T1 Battle Damaged T-800 figure, Hot Toys T2 T-800, Aoshima die-cast T-800 Endoskeleton and Popsalute T3 T-850 Terminator figure.
