Check out this 1990s Kenner Legends of Batman Skybat vehicle with Egyptian Batman figure

On the subject of Batman (see previous post), check out this "Blast from the Past" 1990s Kenner Legends of Batman Skybat vehicle with Wing-Mount Missile and Menacing Jaw Attack!

This is the short write-up from the box packaging:
As Batman appears throughout history – from the ancient past into the far future – he mysteriously arrives to the rescue aboard the top-secret Skybat. Disguised as a creature of the night, this vehicle allows Batman to swoop down from the black sky undetected by villains until the last terrifying moment when he reveals his dark presence. The Skybat is able to capture evil-doers in its mechanical claws or menacing jaws, and also provides Batman with necessary firepower from a powerful wing-mounted missile launcher.

Back in the days when I was still collecting carded Batman action figures, this Skybat actually caught my attention because it was Batman riding a giant bat! This is certainly not the recent flying BAT from The Dark Knight Rises but this toy vehicle was released way before that contraption had its moments on the big screen in the third film of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy with Christian Bale at the helm as Bruce Wayne / Batman.

What's cool about Batman besides his gadgets are the cool vehicles he has in his arsenal for his fight against crime. Besides the Batmobiles, Batman also had the Batwing and Batboat among the other cool vehicles in the Batcave. Check out my earlier toy blog post HERE for more of the Batmobiles and Batplanes. So this Skybat was a nice addition to that collection :)

I paired this 1990s Kenner Legends of Batman Skybat vehicle with the Egyptian Batman action figure (which was a two-pack with Egyptian Catwoman)
