Seen at STGCC2014: HOt TOys BoOth – Alien, Predators, Iron Man, Avengers, Guardians etc

STGCC 2014 Coverage Part I:
Every year Hot Toys booth takes center stage at the Singapore Toy Game & Comic Convention and this year is no exception. STGCC 2014 is now on at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center from September 6 to 7 from 10am till 8pm. I managed to take some pictures and the ones posted here (all 39 of them) are just from Hot Toys booth. The picture below gives you an idea of who some of the 1/6 scale celebrities were at the Toy Fair.

They say a picture speaks a thousand words so let's just let the pictures do the talking :) ENJOY!

Here's a look at the Hot Toys booth

Hot Toys 1/6 scale Ellen Ripley and Power Loader from "Aliens (1986)" on display. This makes it version 2.0 since the original version was released way back. Check out the pictures of the first version Hot Toys 1/6 scale Power Loader with 12-inch Ripley posted HERE

Hot Toys 1/6 scale Ellen Ripley collectible figure from the 1979 "Alien" film

Then there's the 1/6 scale Angelina Jolie as Maleficent figure from the movie of the same name

The Elder Predator was present too but I can't decide who's scarier.

Looks like Hot Toys is going into the Transformers market. Showcased at STGCC2014: GI Optimus Prime (Starscream version) collectible figure

Other robots were also present although RoboCop is more cyborg and human than OCP wanted him to be. Still like the classic version more than the reboot.

Prototype of the Hot Toys battle-damaged 1/6 scale RoboCop with Peter Weller / Alex Murphy's full face shown. We all have been waiting a long time for this. Check out the details.

The Rhino from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was also present. More pictures can be seen HERE.

And then you have the usual suspects i.e. Hot Toys cash cows. First up: Hot Toys The Dark Knight: 1/6 scale Batman Armory with Bruce Wayne & Alfred Pennyworth figures (previewed earlier HERE)

Hot Toys Bat Signal, Lt. Jim Gordon and Robin 1/6 scale collectible figures. I am quite happy with the Dream EX 2012 Toy Fairs Exclusive 1/6 scale Bat-Signal / Spotlight (reviewed in my toy blog HERE) along with the Hot Toys exclusive 1/6 scale Lt. James "Jim" Gordon 12-inch figure with ZCWO Mens Hommes MH Vol.08 1/6 scale Action Figure Fashion (posted HERE)

Other Hot Toys 1/6 scale Batman figures on display: Arkham City Batman (previewed HERE)

And 12-inch Michael Keaton Batman collectible figure from "Batman Returns"

Hot Toys always put up very impressive dioramas with their 1/6 scale figures and this year there was the Avengers versus the Chitauri invasion...

Steve Rogers Captain America super soldier lab test

And the “House Party Protocol” from Iron Man 3. And this isn't even all the armors released yet.

Also on display: All the newer Iron Man armors from the "Iron Man 3" movie. Lots of ka-ching ka-ching for Hot Toys right here. They have been rolling in the deep (piles of money / cash) for a long time now and looks like there's going to be more to come. After all, there were 42 different armor suits for the third "Iron Man" film.

Last but not least: the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Guardians of the Galaxy collectible figures

NEXT post: More pictures and posts (part 2 of 4) from STGCC 2014 coming up! Stay tuned.
