Here's the ThreeA Adventure Kartel 1/6 scale Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez 12.5-inch figure fully suited up. You can check out the undressed figure without his outer space suit (including the FAT suit) in my previous post HERE. The basic figure is NOT this big and it's the FAT suit that adds the bulk to the figure. I have quite a number of 1/6 scale Astronaut figures (check out my toy blog entry HERE) but no Cosmonaut figure until now. I labelled them under "pilots" because they had to be when the space program started. Brings to mind the Mercury Seven, famously portrayed in the film "The Right Stuff". The Mercury Seven were the group of seven Mercury astronauts selected by NASA on April 9, 1959. They are also referred to as the Original Seven or Astronaut Group 1. They piloted the manned spaceflights of the Mercury program from May 1961 to May 1963. Now almost anyone can be an astronaut. Sandra Bullock did it in "Gravity" with George Clooney and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) did it in Big Bang Theory LOL
ThreeA's Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez is nice as a post-apocalyptic, weathered, worn down, dirtied and zombie-like astronaut space figure which is what the company is known for and makes a nice addition to any collection if space is kind of your thing or you are simply collecting all of ThreeA's Adventure Kartel line of figures. ThreeA Adventure Kartel 1/6 scale Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez ia based of the Dead Astronaut Gangsta figure, a classic Ashley Wood character who has found his way into the Adventure Kartel Universe. More about him at the end of this post.
Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez comes in a "new" space suit (meaning of new: "in orange color and different from the ones released with the Dead Astronaut Gangsta figure" as the suit is designed to look "worn out and old" with nothing new about it) and an interior helmet light to cast an eery glow on the figure's face. Worth a look.

Here's ThreeA Adventure Kartel 1/6 scale Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez 12.5-inch figure in full space suit with helmet visor down and covering his face plus hoses attached. The 3 hoses connect to the front control panel, backpack and oxygen tank.
ThreeA Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez's space suit has a lot of pouches, something ThreeA seems to like to put on a lot of their figures, including the BBICN ThreeA Popbot exclusive Pathfinder Ono Tomorrow Kings Oyabun 12-inch figure (reviewed HERE, HERE and HERE) as well as ThreeA (3A) 1/6 scale Tomorrow Kings SHOGUN Gorei 12-inch action figure (pictures HERE and HERE)
It was stated earlier in the previews and pre-order information that 2 Pistols and corresponding holsters are included with each figure. Actually there are a total of 4 pistols and 4 holsters for the guns included with this figure. Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez carries two pistols on his hips and another two at the back, below the oxygen tank.
Like I mentioned earlier, lots of pouches.
Here's a picture of the full figure of ThreeA Adventure Kartel 1/6 scale Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez with the visor up, showing the bony skull face wearing the two-tone communications head cap (aka ‘snoopy cap’) underneath.
And this next picture (plus the ones following) show the blue light-up effect of the interior helmet light, designed to cast an eery glow on the figure's face.
The light comes from two sources located on the helmet ring which points directly onto the figure's face. The next picture shows how the figure looks without the lights switched on.
The battery compartment and light switch is located on the backpack (see the picture below). No instruction sheet is included with this ThreeA Adventure Kartel 1/6 scale Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez 12.5-inch figure so one has to figure out where the battery compartment and light switch is located.
No batteries are included either. I took the batteries that came with the Hot Toys MMS195-D01 "Iron Man 3" 1/6th scale Die-cast Iron Patriot 12-inch Collectible Action Figure (see my toy blog post HERE) and inserted them (two is enough) into the battery compartment of this Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez figure. Never leave batteries inside the figure for too long as the batteries will leak over time and damage the electronic working parts, leaving you with a damaged figure. It has happened to many collectors already - check out my post HERE titled "Hot Toy Collecting Tip #1: Remove ALL Batteries!" Be sure to read the comments ;p

This Dead Cosmonaut Golovorez is a new addition to the Adventure Kartel Universe and he is based on the Dead Astronaut Gangsta figure. Dead Astronaut Gangsta is a classic Ashley Wood character who has found his way into the Adventure Kartel Universe. In the Dead Astronaut Gangsta mini-comic, it is revealed that Little Shadow has hired Dead Astronaut Gangsta to assassinate Tommy Mission for their anniversary. See said comic below.
