STGCC 2014 coverage Part IV:
There seems to be a lot of statues on display at Singapore Toy Games & Comic Convention this year (STGCC 2014 was at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center from September 6 to 7), and Iron Man is not spared either. Lots of Iron Man suits to be seen at the show, from small (1/6 scale Hot Toys Iron Man collectible figures posted earlier HERE) to BIGGER size models / statues (1/2 scale, all posted in my toy blog). They are certainly very nice but then, so is the price (ouch!). I just don't feel that they are value-for-money but hey, that's just my personal opinion so if statues is your cup of tea, I say "Go for it!" Everybody should be allowed to collect what they like, that's the FUN and enjoyable aspect of this hobby, sharing what we love. I took lot of pictures so that we can all enjoy looking at them together.
Noticeably absent from this year's show was Play Imaginative. They were hawking their wares (especially their Iron Man armor suits) in previous year's show but didn't turn up at all for this latest event.
Posted here are mostly statues by XM Studios, Singapore's very own producer of limited edition premium statue collectibles. Their current franchise properties include Marvel movie characters such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and many more beloved characters.

This is the cropped hair version of XM Studios 1:4 scale Black Widow (comics version) 1:4 scale premium collectible statue. Both are equally nice and it would be rather difficult to decide which one to get. Thank goodness I don't have to make that decision.
